Fall is my favorite season. I enjoy the cooler temperatures, the beauty in nature with the changing color of leaves, lovely mums, pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, and I can’t forget pumpkin bread. Love it! Just don’t give me a pumpkin spice latte! Let the gasps ensue, but no, I don’t like the lattes. LOL
Most of us prefer one season over the others. While it’s autumn for me, it might be summer for you. Just as the things change with the seasons, things also change with the seasons in our lives. We all go through seasons of change. Some are good. Some – not so good. Some are downright awful. During the awful seasons, it’s difficult to keep our heads above the water let alone function. These are the times we need to dig deep to find our inner strength. God has equipped us with His power within. We just have to remember to tap into it!
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
When I was young, my mom would always say “This too shall pass” if we were going through something difficult. It’s true. Seasons change. Sometimes we change with them, and hopefully that change is positive. Hopefully we learn and grow as we go. My hope is that you’re in a good season right now. If not, try to hold onto hope and keep on keeping on! Yes, keep on keeping on. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and BREATHE. You can do this.
